First found my musical feet at age 13 when a friend left a Metallica CD at my house. I was quickly hooked on anything guitar based and got my first guitar shortly after. My musical influences would develop to range from bands like Free, Boston and Journey to heavier bands like Metallica, Korn and Slipknot. My main musical influence however has been The Wildhearts. So... how does somebody that listens to Slipknot come to write dance music? I hear you ask... Well, my musical tastes have always been quite varied and I have always been partial to a little 80's and 90's dance music. I had spent a few years promoting local music and had been thinking for a while that there werent enough electronic bands around. There were all too many guitar, bass and drums bands around but none that were actually trying anything different. Whilst promoting some local bands at the Rock Cafe in Stourbridge, I bumped into Rick and had a chat with him about what i wanted to do; turns out he had an electronic drum kit and had been thinking the exact same thing! We promptly set out auditioning various band members and writing songs... The rest as they say, is history!
